Policies


Client agrees to hourly rate of $25 per hour or a block rate at $175 consisting of 8 hours, or $200 consisting of 10 hours. The block rate is a $25 or $50 savings and can not be used with any other promotions. Sessions are booked on first come - first served basis. Rates are subject to change with out notice. (will not change in the middle of any current projects)
Note: Block rates are to be paid in full prior to session beginning. The hourly charges and block rates
do not include the cost of DAT, cassette tapes or CDs.

Any studio reservation constitutes a contract; 2 hours notification required in the event of cancellation. A Client failing to notify studio 2 hours prior to session is subject to a cancellation fee. In the event of no-show, Client is charged for 1 hour of studio time at regular rate. Hourly Rates are booked at 1 hour minimal and 15 minutes increments thereafter. Block time must be used within 30-day period.


Clients are responsible for all monies due to the studio and shall make payment to the studio as follows: Upon conclusion of the current recording session paid with cash, money order or most major credit cards. No personal checks are excepted. All refunds will be paid back as studio hours.

No audio tapes or media shall be released to Clients until Clients are current with payments that are owed to Studio K, Recording.

Studio shall endeavor to secure all recording media owned by Client and left or stored on studio premises but is not responsible for loss or damage. The Client should retain a safety copy so items can be replaced.

In the event of loss or damage of clients recording media due to willful negligence, Studio shall be responsible for replacement of no more than the value of the total replacement cost of the unrecorded tape and studio time to date devoted to said recording media.

Studio is not responsible for any property left on premises by client. (other than recording media)





Clients recording media left on premises 30 days after completion of last recording session or service shall become the property of Studio if all monies due to Studio have not been paid.

Client shall be responsible for any loss or damage to Studio property incurred by client, employees of Clients, guest of client or agents of client acting under clients instruction as a result of misuse, negligence and or carelessness.

Absolutely no smoking or drinking alcoholic beverages in the studio.

Absolutely no drugs allowed on the premises of Studio K, Recording.

Studio K is not responsible for any audio or midi sequence data that is lost due to electrical black outs during the recording session. In the event of software or hardware errors a 30 minute Trouble Shooting / Repair time will be allotted. If the problem persist for an hour the session may be rescheduled without penalty to Client or Studio.
